Proof testing is very important in the production and application of hoses and other pressurised objects. During testing of pressurised objects, pressure testing is used to check whether the product is leak-tight and meets the specified quality requirements.

The different types of pressure testing

During pressure testing, it is measured whether the pressurised object is leak-tight under a certain pressure for a certain period of time. Proof testing is carried out to test whether hoses or other pressure-containing objects meet the specified requirements. The test pressure tests are performed with pressure testing machines made on air drive or electric drive and can be tested with a test range up to 6000 bar.
